What Makes Us Unique?
The Folk School idea began long ago in Scandinavia as a way to provide everyday "folks" the skills needed to live well. An education through regular school was too expensive for most, so people found another way to learn.

Nowadays there are several folk schools out there but they are generally expensive to attend, which in our minds takes away from the original Folk School idea.

Lost Creek believes that this type of education should be available to everyone, so we build relationships instead of buildings, and rely upon word-of-mouth for a lot of our advertising. This means classes to you at a lesser cost. We also have scholarships available. Join us!
