Apostle Islands Suite & Bunkhouse - A unique lodging option near Bayfield

Updated: Mar 25

Bayfield is known for scenic harbors and quaint downtown shopping areas. While there are many options for lodging in and around town, they book up early and tend to be on the more expensive side, and their steep room tax doesn't help!

The Apostle Islands Bunkhouse & Suite is a great option for those visiting the area. Far enough from the crowds while being close enough to visit that larger towns. "Corny" also has a fantastic public beach, a few restaurants, a general store, and coffee shop.

From the outside. The suite is on the lower left, the bunkhouse accessed from the upper deck.

The Suite is a private room that sleeps up to 4 guests, and includes kitchenette, and full accessible entry and no-step shower. Guests also have access to the deck and BBQ grill.

The bunkhouse was built to be rented by the bed, but when Covid 19 happened we renovated the space to be 2 private sleeping rooms with combination bunk style quarters with shower and sink sleeping up to 6 each. Between the rooms is a hallway with communal kitchen & restroom. Perhaps best of all is the upstairs deck overlooking Siskiwit Bay, Lake Superior.
